ABOUT KATIE:

Hi, I’m Katie Spaulding! I’ve been a stylist at IVY+OAK for four years, and I’m incredibly grateful to be part of such a warm and inclusive salon. I earned my license in 2016 from the Toni & Guy Academy in Colorado Springs and spent time in the customer service industry before finding a salon that truly felt like home. Over the past few years, I’ve grown tremendously in my craft, and I love having the freedom to express my creativity through hair.

My passion lies in vivid colors, reds and coppers, all blonding services, razor cutting, and textured styles, including pixies and mullets. I’m always eager to learn and challenge myself, leaning on my coworkers and mentors to grow in every aspect of my career. More than just transforming hair, I love building connections with my clients and meeting new, fascinating people every day.

HIDDEN TALENTS:

Outside of the salon, I thrive in the sunshine and water—summer is my favorite season, though I’m slowly learning to appreciate winter too. I enjoy painting, working out, and unwinding with a good binge-worthy show. Most of all, I love spending time with my cat, dog, and partner.
